In recent years, there has been a dramatic surge in translation projects for annual reports targeting foreign investors, and as a result, we are urgently seeking translators who can handle these projects.

業務内容 Responsibilities	Japanese to English translations in the financial field, mainly annual reports Reason for Job Opening Once their spring financial results briefings are over, many listed companies start producing and publishing their annual reports. In recent years, there has been a dramatic surge in translation projects for annual reports targeting foreign investors, and as a result, we are urgently seeking translators who can handle these projects. Our goal is not merely to translate documents into English; we want to help companies create attractive IR documents for their stakeholders. In order to transcend word-for-word English rewrites and provide translations that appeal to and resonate with investors and shareholders, we are looking for translators whose native language is English (or whose English proficiency is equivalent). 必要な経験・スキル Required experience and skills	Japanese: JLPT N1 or equivalent English: Native-level English proficiency Actual translation experience of at least 3 years Ability to understand a variety of Japanese texts and accurately translate them into highly readable English using an appropriate style and tone, while also being mindful of the reader (general users, client companies, etc.) Experience in and willingness to use CAT tools, such as Phrase (formerly Memsource), memoQ, Trados, etc.
